nki.collectives.all_to_all_v_trigger#

nki.collectives.all_to_all_v_trigger(prepare_instr: NkiInstruction, name: Optional[str] = None) → NkiInstruction[source]#

Complete a split all_to_all_v().

Run the a2a-v collective whose metadata setup was done by all_to_all_v_prepare(). This is the phase that reads srcs and writes dsts.

The trigger reuses the buffers, replica group, and every other argument from the paired all_to_all_v_prepare(), so it takes only the prepare instruction.

Parameters:

prepare_instr – The instruction returned by the paired all_to_all_v_prepare(). It links this trigger to that prepare and supplies the operands.
